Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment or using the Pitstop Pro website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Services
Pitstop Pro provides mobile automotive repair and diagnostic services in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. All services are subject to availability and technician assessment. We reserve the right to decline service if a vehicle is deemed unsafe to work on at the requested location, or if the requested repair is outside our scope of service.
Fees & Payment
A $200 diagnostic fee is charged at the time of booking. This fee is applied toward the cost of your repair if you proceed with the work. It is not a deposit and is non-refundable if you decline the recommended repair after the diagnostic is completed. A $75 travel fee is charged for each appointment and is non-refundable. All payments are processed securely through GoDaddy Payments. Final repair costs are quoted after the diagnostic and must be approved by the customer before work begins.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may forfeit the travel fee. The diagnostic fee will be applied to a rescheduled appointment within 30 days of the original booking.
Warranty on Repairs
We stand behind our work. Parts and labor are warranted for 90 days or 3,000 miles from the date of service, whichever comes first. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and parts supplied by Pitstop Pro. It does not cover damage caused by subsequent accidents, misuse, or repairs performed by other parties.
Limitation of Liability
Pitstop Pro's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions on your vehicle that are unrelated to the service performed.
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information when booking, ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed location and time, and ensure a safe working environment for our technicians. Pitstop Pro reserves the right to terminate a service appointment if the technician's safety is at risk.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
